The upgrade of the Burton St mall by Shoalhaven City Council came about as the result of community advocacy. Vincentia Matters, along with the Chamber of Commerce, the Vincentia Ratepayers & Residents Association, and community members, were actively involved in bringing about the refurbishment.

Our timeline charts Vincentia Matter's involvement in the progress of this project from the evolution of an idea through to the current construction. Links are provided to further information and documentation. The Shoalhaven City Council has two web pages that provide information regarding the mall redevelopment - a current project page and the previous placemaking page which includes a timeline (note this page is archived and no longer updated).
