About the event
With the dire weather predictions for summer, and the images on our television screens from the European bushfires, Vincentia Matters is organising a Bushfire Preparedness Public Meeting for the Bay and Basin.
RFS, Police, Emergency Services and Shoalhaven Council are attending to explain how to prepare for a bushfire in the Bay and Basin area, and they will welcome questions from the audience.
Learn about strategies and plans we can utilise before, during and after a bushfire.
As a community, we need to be organised and prepare our homes and our villages so that we can be as safe as possible in the event of a catastrophic bushfire.
